AJ Lopez
Locomotive Engineer Single
Wow! It is hard to beleive its' been 30 years since we graduated. For many of us we knew each other since elementary school. I was at Burbank, Longfellow, Washington one summer at Marshall Fundemenatal then Eliot Jr. High before John Muir. We truly are family and I look forward to connecting with each and every one of you.
After Muir I attended P.C.C, then Pasadena Art Center before serving my country as a United States Marine.
I have been a Locomotive Engineer with the BNSF R/R for 22 years now, but hey who is keeping track...lol! "get it keeping track"..
Single yes, Kids yes, Loving life yes, yes, yes! See you soon...

Moved to Altadena in 1972. Attended Noyes, Loma Alta, "Alternative" (Washington Center), Eliot and Muir

Although I only attended Muir for one year (my Junior year, '81-'82) I am a part of the class of '83 and I'd really like to see all my old friends!  Graduated from a small high school in Washington State and returned to California in 1984.

Have been living in the Inland Empire from 2003 thru 2012, but moved to La Cañada in 2013 and its great to be back "home".

Sorry I won't make the reunion. I have been living in the UK for 17 years, the last 9 in the Scottish Borders, about 30 miles south of the capital Edinburgh. Still fixing cars as I have been doing since before I left Muir. I used to work at the 76 gas station until they built the Double Tree hotel on it. I've gone from working at independant garages to dealerships (BMW and Fiat/Alfa Romeo) to the BMW car plant in Cowley, Oxford where the MINI is built. If you have a MINI built before 2005 I may have laid hands on it, but only if they didn't build it right the first time! Since then I have been running my own small garage and have my oldest son working with me.

Another interest I have is Electric cars. I have built 3 so far which have been daily drivers for me for a number of years now. You can find my vehicles here. http://www.evalbum.com/4191
The Daewoo Matiz that I current have is the original name for the Chevy Spark that GM decided to do an electric version of. Obviously they saw mine and thought they would have a go! lol

Enough about me, how about a bit of trivia. Near to where I live is the seaside town of Dunbar, the birth place of John Muir! Here's a link to the John Muir Museum which I have visited and enjoyed very much. http://www.jmbt.org.uk/content/
And also the John Muir Way, which I haven't done. http://www.johnmuirway.co.uk/index.html

So even though I have moved almost half way round the world I'm still not far from John Muir.  :-)
